Internet marketers are taught that website headers are important not only for visual reasons. If you've been building niche websites, you know that they can create that good first impression on your visitors, and can therefore make them stay longer and think highly of you.
So, should you use free website headers?

This way they can stand out, and you can avoid being mistaken with other websites.

Of course, just because they are free does not necessarily mean they are of poor quality. If you look hard enough, there are actually headers you can use because they are very professionally-made, just like the paid ones.

They say that free is good, and this might be true to graphics such as website headers as well. As previously mentioned, being free does not equate to being in poor quality or inferior to paid graphics, or products in general. There are actually a number of paid crappy products that you can do without if you use their free counterparts. All you have to do is look around for these sites hidden away somewhere in this vast cyberspace.

With that all said, if you want to create your own website header you either tap a graphic designer's talent or do it your own. But if you do not have the time or the money, there are headers that can be downloaded on the internet for free. When it comes to free headers, some people frown on them because, since they are free, they might not look professional enough to make your website stand out.
