If you've been in internet marketing for some time you know how popular
master resell rights (MRR) products are. You see them everywhere, from
Clickbank to Ebay. There are many memberships around these products as
well, and thousands are subscribed to them because these MRR products are
profitable.

And why not? If you've been a seller or originator of some MRR products you know that they sell like hotcakes. Thousands of people are looking for new products to sell to their customers or to their list without having to invest thousands or hundreds of dollars in freelance writers or programmers, and without having to wait for months or a year to finish their products.

But, aside from the monetary gains, do you know you can build your list and generate traffic from your MRR product for years to come? Let me tell you why and how.

This is by leaving your links in your MRR product. This is not really a secret to a handful of MRR product creators who advertise their websites and products by leaving their links behind. If you've used some MRR products before, you will notice that these products have some links from the product owner.

Now, how do they exactly do this? They do this by the following.

1. In the 'Read Me' or 'Usage Restrictions' file. MRR products have a file containing a list of usage restrictions that guide the customer as
to how they should use the product. It states whether you are free to sell it, give it away, or pass on the MRR license to the customer, and so on. But apart from the list of usage restrictions, the product owner also
leaves a small ad about his main product or sign up page, therefore
generating free traffic for months or years to come.

2. In the introduction of a report or ebook. Usually an ebook has an introduction from the product owner. If you're the owner of an ebook or report with MRR this is your chance to reach thousands of customers by introducing yourself by sharing your marketing background. The foreword benefits you in two ways. The first is it gives you an opportunity to gain the people's trust when you tell them who you are. A personal background shows you are a real person. This is even truer if you attach a picture at the top or bottom of your foreword, it makes it even more
personal and makes yourself credible.

Another benefit the foreword gives is that it gives you a chance to
softly advertise your current products and newsletter that complement
your MRR product. This happens when you share your marketing background.
You state your past products, how you started, and of course, what you're
up to now. Leaving links to your current products will generate free
traffic at this point and in the future.

3. At the thank you page and sales page of the product. At the footer of
some MRR product salespage, there are links to the owner's main products.
This generates viral traffic even if the visitor doesn't buy the MRR product. Also, there are thank you pages that have an ad to the owner's products and newsleter below the download links, therefore generating free traffic.

4. Notification updates. A product has to be updated every once in a while, and by leaving a link to a notification sign up form you are adding more susbcribers to your list. Just state in your privacy policy that you are giving them marketing emails as part of your newsletter to avoid irate emails.

5. At the end of the ebook or report. Usually at the last pages of an ebook you will see ads to the owner's products and newsletters, which
complement the MRR product, hence generating viral traffic and more
subscribers for years.

An MRR product should not just be looked at as a source of revenue to
product creators. If you know how to use MRR products as a source of free
and viral traffic, you will gain thousands of visitors to your product pages and newsletters for a long time.
